In 2007, the University implemented a separate awards program for each division. Per this directive, the Council of Deans Personnel Committee along with representatives from the Provost's Office and University Relations collaborated on the new Academic Affairs Employee Recognition Awards program. First, we will recognize those employees who have served 10, 20, 30, and 35 years at the university with Sustained Service Awards. Secondly, a Gabor Superior Accomplishment Award will be conferred on one employee from our division. And, lastly, we will award Exemplary Service Awards. The latter category of awards is awarded through nominations from Division employees and chosen by a committee. The Division of Academic Affairs, the largest division on campus, includes:
- Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
- All Colleges and Schools, including Panama City Campus
- Admissions/Registrar/Financial Aid
