Fall 2008

April 28, 2008
Informational Meeting for Fall and Spring Reviews
Department chair/program director identifies potential reviewers and forwards names to Jennifer Buchanan
QER guidelines distributed and posted on the website for the Provost's Office
Department chair/program director prepares self-study material
Mid-June 2008
Institutional Research and Contract and Grant Information Available
July 1, 2008
Deadline for submitting the names of potential reviewers to Jennifer Buchanan
August 29, 2008
Department chairs submit written self-study material to the Office of the Provost
September 1-30, 2008
External reviewer evaluates the program and submits recommendations to the Vice President for Planning and Programs.
Fall 2008
Graduate Policy Committee conducts review and makes recommendations.
Late Fall 2008
Meeting is held with all program faculty, academic administrators, library representative, and the GPC representatives. This meeting is referred to as the unit review.
Academic dean completes executive summary and action plan for review by Academic Affairs.
Vice President for Planning and Programs makes final recommendations to the Provost.
Vice President for Planning and Programs submits QER Summary to the Florida Board of Governors for review.

 


Spring 2009

Deadline for submitting the names of potential reviewers to Jennifer Buchanan

Department chairs submit written self-study material to the Office of the Provost
January 5-30, 2009
